Workplace violence (wpv)

According to OSHA, nearly 2 million American workers report having been victims of workplace violence each year. Unfortunately, many more cases go unreported. Research has identified factors that may increase the risk of violence for some workers at certain worksites. Such factors include exchanging money with the public and working with volatile, unstable people. Workplace violence is a risk every business must manage on a daily basis, and an exposure for which many are not prepared.

SGA has supported multiple organizations with the following WPV consulting services:

Compliance with OSHA guidelines specific to WPV

Crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) strategies

Individual specific threat assessment reports

Employee meeting management and termination strategies

Reviewing of OSHA Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (OSHA 300 Log) required by 29 CFR Part 1904 specifically caused by workplace violence
